What is Male Blepharoplasty?

Male blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery for men) is one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures for men, increasingly growing in popularity year after year.

Although many of the same principles apply, differences do exist between eyelid surgery for men and women. The shape, height, and contour of men's eyebrows and eyelids differ from those of women. An expert eyelid and facial surgeon must understand these subtle differences and have the foresight to recognize when to combine a blepharoplasty with other procedures, such as a brow lift, lower eyelid blepharoplasty, and eyelid ptosis repair (eyelid lift) to achieve the desired results for male patients. ​
