Revision Eyelid Surgery Gallery
Many patients seek Dr. Abboud’s expertise to correct unsatisfactory results from previous eyelid surgery — particularly lower eyelid blepharoplasty. When performed too aggressively or without adequate support, this procedure can result in complications such as eyelid retraction, ectropion, scleral show, distortion of the natural eye shape, and difficulty closing the eyes. Revision surgery may involve a midface lift and lateral canthoplasty to restore eyelid position, contour, and function. In some cases, tissue grafts are needed to support the repair. While Dr. Abboud’s goal is to improve eyelid contour, function, and patient confidence, revision procedures are complex and technically challenging. Selecting a highly trained oculofacial plastic surgeon from the outset offers the best chance of avoiding complications and achieving a natural result.
