Canthoplasty (Almond Eye) Gallery
Canthoplasty is one of the most common procedures Dr. Abboud performs, in both primary and revisional cosmetic eyelid surgery. It involves tightening of the lower eyelid and reshaping of the outer corner of the eyelids. When combined with a midface (cheek) or SOOF (suborbicularis oculi fat) lift, it can elevate the corner of the eye and achieve the aesthetically-desired almond shape to the eyes. Dr. Abboud often combines a canthoplasty with a lower eyelid blepharoplasty to achieve a more youthful appearance to the eyes.
